Hi I’m Jake,
Thanks for visiting my garage! I’m here for the same reason you are, to create the best version of myself. I work a mainly sedentary job in the aviation industry and have gravitated towards fitness as an outlet to my daily routine. For me fitness serves many roles including: companionship, decompression, and a challenge to improve my overall well being. I’ve always been interested in strength training but only recently began to track my diet. It’s a great feeling to experience the benefits that accompany clean eating and food portioning.
I’m a personal coach certificated through the Internation Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). My fitness routine is a mix of weights, calisthenics, and cardio. I really look up to the people making waves in the calisthenics industry and appreciate how bodyweight exercises develop functional strength while helping to create a symmetrical anatomy. Single calisthenics moves challenging me right now are the: handstand, straight arm planche, and front/back levers. I will master them in time! What are your health and fitness goals?
