Cilantro Turkey Burgers

Since I started cooking for different family members my turkey burgers have become a weekly staple. I love how cooking always pushes me to do research and learn more about how the body can heal through food. My uncle, who I regularly cook for, is on a strict wahls paleo diet, trying to rid his body of heavy metals.  I learned that cilantro is known for ridding the body of metals. So guess what?? I put cilantro in nearly of all his meals and it’s a good thing he loves it! Hope you guys enjoy this recipe and keep in mind you can pretty much mince any veggie and throw it without messing it up!

Ingredients (all organic):

  • 2lb sweet Italian ground turkey
  • 1/2 bushel chopped cilantro
  • 2 shredded carrots
  • 1 organic minced sweet onion
  • 2TB beef stock
  • 2TB coconut milk
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 8oz minced Mushrooms
  • 3 yellow and green zucchini
  • S/P (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup GF Italian bread crumbs

Directions:

  1. Mince all veggies
  2. In a large mixing bowl throw in all your ingredients and mix well (with your hands)
  3. Form patties (size optional)
  4. Spray grill and grill for 7 minutes on each side
